This cost-effective, Volvo-specific OBDII connector plugs directly into the truck’s ECM/diagnostic port. It facilitates the FMCSA-required data transmission from the vehicle’s onboard computer to the Driver Logbook app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.1) connection. The data transmitted for FMCSA ELD compliance includes: Odometer, Engine Hours, and Engine ON/OFF status.
